This is a lovely vase. It is about 9 1/2" H and etched with images of ocean scene and sailboats.. It is painted around the base of the piece - trees and foilage.  Perfect condition. 
 
While we don't know the age of the piece, we know that the MZ Austria mark was used by Moritz Zdekauer on porcelains made at his Altrolau, Austria, works from 1884 to 1909. The words “Warranted 18 carat gold” indicate it was decorated with gold.
